Brand, Austria as featured in ACE TENNIS Magazine
Brand is a small picturesque village in Austria’s Ratikon Mountains. Close to the Swiss border, it’s a 150km drive from Zurich airport, 145 km from Innsbruck airport and 90km from Friedrichshafen airport.
The resort offers outstanding facilities, great value for money, a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful scenery – whether you visit in summer or winter.
From December to April, Brand offers a comprehensive programme of winter sports. World-class tennis facilities are available year-round, and in the summer golf, hiking and mountain biking are among the many sports on offer.
If you’re feeling less energetic, Brand’s excellent spa facilities provide the opportunity for some serious pampering.
During the summer, the annual Schubert and Bregenz Music Festival features opera performances from a floating stage on Lake Constance. The Silvreta Classic Car Rally also attracts visitors from across the world.
This traditional-style resort offers modern facilities and is particularly geared towards families, with many restaurants offering children’s menus.
Great shopping is available in the nearby town of Bludenz which is also home to the world-famous Suchard chocolate factory.
