Mellau, Austria
Mellau is an charming unspoilt resort in the heart of Bregenzerwald, the
largest region in Vorarlberg. Following the expansion of the lift system
joining Mellau with Damuels in December 2009, Mellau has become the largest
ski area in Bregenzerwald and was voted the "Top Ski Area" as
a newcomer for season 2009-2010
The ski area consists of 23 cable cars and lifts

As an alternative to skiing, soak up the fresh air, enjoy cross country skiing and winter hiking. In Mellau there are 22.5 kilometers of groomed cross country trails and over 30 km of marked paths for winter trails.
