Skiing in Mellau
Mellau is a charming, traditional and unspoilt resort in the heart of the famous Bregenzerwald, the largest region in Vorarlberg.
Since December 2009, Mellau is the largest ski area in the region with 105km of ski runs and a new lift system joining two ski areas, Mellau-Damuels.
Mellau is ideal for those looking for a slower pace of skiing or people returning to skiing after a lengthy break. For the more experienced skiers there are some challenging slopes too.
The facilities in Mellau are very good with a gondola from the village centre taking you to the slopes, extensive snow cannons and short lift queues.
