The snow conditions in Serre Chevalier are exceptionally good. The ski area is well groomed and being north-facing, you can ski on the top half as well as the lower slopes which are protected by trees. Snow cannons ensure that there is good snow coverage at the base of the valley pistes. You’ll also find enjoyable off-piste skiing here.
And you can experience the magic of night skiing on the Briançon Vauban
piste. The area is well adapted to families with children (little ones under
six ski for free), with plenty of fun activities other than skiing.

There’s a huge choice of leisure activities available: the famous Serre
Chevalier ice driving circuit, snow-shoe walks, paragliding, snow kiting,
skijoring, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice climbing and many more. There
are a number of health farms and relaxation centres, with offers ranging
from sea water therapy centres to the latest gyms, including the Monêtier
baths whose indoor and outdoor pools are fed by naturally heated mineral-rich
spring water.

Kinder snow parks in Chantemerle, Villeneuve, Monêtier, equipped and made
safe for toddlers where they can have the time of their lives riding on
a Magic Carpet and tow ropes. With night skiing for children 5-9pm in Villeneuve.
In each village there are specially adapted walks for families with pushchairs
and toddlers
Sledge runs, children playgrounds, children's clubs, nature and creation
workshops, pony rides, snowmobiling for children,swimming pool & toddlers
pool and creche services. Many activities are organised throughout the winter
season specially for children.
